Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 25 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of botshare.ai and the purchase of Botshare services and products: consulting and R&D, engineering packages, OpenAMRobot hardware and pre-orders, training, subscriptions and support. By using the website or buying from us you accept these terms. Where a signed contract, proposal or order confirmation says something different, that document takes priority.

3. Orders and pre-orders
An order is binding once we confirm it in writing or by email, or once payment is completed through our checkout.
OpenAMRobot pre-orders are paid in full at checkout. The price, configuration and expected delivery window are those shown at checkout and in your confirmation. Delivery dates for hardware still in development are estimates, and we will inform you promptly of any change. If we cannot deliver a pre-ordered product, you are entitled to a refund of the amount paid. The refund rules for OpenAMRobot 2.0 pre-orders are set out in the FAQ on the pre-order page.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe or by bank transfer against our invoice. Prices are in EUR unless stated otherwise, and VAT is added where applicable.
Custom R&D projects may require deposits, milestone payments or a separate contract, as set out in the proposal. We may change our prices at any time, but changes never affect orders we have already confirmed.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases of physical goods, counted from delivery. It does not apply to goods made to your specifications. For digital content, the right ends once download or access starts with your consent. For services, it ends once the service has been fully performed with your consent.
Business customers: cancellation and refund terms are those in the proposal or contract. Completed consulting sessions, delivered digital products and downloaded engineering materials are not refundable.
To cancel or request a refund, email info@botshare.ai with your order details.
6. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time unless a minimum period was agreed. Cancelling stops future billing but does not refund past periods. Unused support hours do not roll over unless agreed in writing.
7. No guarantee of specific outcomes
Robotics projects depend on hardware availability, manufacturing quality, software configuration, the operating environment, suppliers and third-party systems. Unless agreed in writing, we do not guarantee commercial success, compatibility with all third-party hardware, specific engineering results, certification, error-free operation or continuous uptime. Engineering work is delivered on a best-effort basis unless the contract states measurable acceptance criteria.
8. OpenAMRobot and open source
OpenAMRobot includes open-source and proprietary components. Open-source code, designs and documentation are licensed under the licence stated in each repository, and that licence applies to them. Premium modules, consulting materials and other proprietary engineering content remain the property of Botshare Ltd. You may not resell or redistribute proprietary materials, remove ownership notices or claim them as your own without our written permission.
9. Intended use and safety
Unless a product is explicitly certified for industrial use, our hardware, software and engineering materials are intended for research, education, prototyping and R&D. They are not safety-certified. When you build, integrate or operate a robot, you are responsible for the risk assessment, safe operation and compliance with the rules that apply where you use it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Botshare Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, loss of profit, business interruption, loss of data or failures of third-party systems. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service concerned.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or where the law does not allow it, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Intellectual property
Website content, the Botshare name and logo, engineering materials, documentation, graphics and software remain the intellectual property of Botshare Ltd unless stated otherwise. Botshare is a registered trade mark. You receive the usage rights described in your package or written agreement.
12. Third-party services
We use third-party services such as Stripe, Odoo, GitHub, Google and cloud providers. We are not responsible for their outages or failures.
13. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
15. Changes to these terms
